Making something of nothing.

Long time no...you know.

Narrative assignment finish:

(Process):
process, process, process.

Drawn elements for a how-to manual...you guessed it--how to be a lepidopterist! :P

To be printed and bound in a pamphlet-structure book by Monday.

I never posted these, although they were probably spotted on my Flickr:
Rumpelstiltskin
Rumpelstiltskin
Rumpelstiltskin
Rumpelstiltskin!

And the last bit, a pattern that I made in today's class with Matt:
tea time!
I'm pleased...it does what I wanted it to. :)

I know you had something to do with what happened to my homework.

First, for Travis, here's how the creature turned out:

(I really hope Sara posts hers too, because it turned out very nicely)

Now I need some advice on the upcoming "narrative" assignment. I'm pretty happy with it, but there's still an "unfinished" feeling about it, and I can't tell what is missing. I know I overworked the watercolor in the smoke, but that can't really be changed much so try not to be too brutal with critiques. I just have the vague feeling that there needs to be just one more object or color, but I don't know what or where.

To avoid mucking up a bunch of space with sketches that have nothing to do with real assignments,
I'll just link my latest batch
